Plot : The Stephanie Plum Series by Janet Evanovich comes in the form of a movie, with Katherine Heigl playing the lead role. The series that is being talked about developing into a movie franchise comes as a base that establishes the story of Stephanie. It shows her as a divorced, unemployed woman who asks her bail bondsman cousin to give her a job as a Bounty Hunter. On her first assignment, she gets to chase and capture a former cop/ alleged murderer, who also used to be her former romantic interest. Taking the help of the best in the business, she really learns a great deal about her business and begins to fit into the title of a ‘bounty hunter’, really well. Watch One For The Money movie and you would see the toils of director Julie Anne Robinson to turn a book into a cinematic experience. The cast of the movie (apart from Heigl) includes Jason O’ Mara and Sherri Shepherd, sharing space with Daniel Sunjata and Patrick Fischler. Combining action with comedy and crime with mystery really appears as a holistic package, but does it really turn out to be the same, you gotta watch the film to know.
