Michael Corrente, in his latest film, offers an insight into the mess that the reckless youth, who live life on the edge, often land in. This film opens on the busy and impersonal streets of New York City that serve as both a breeding and a shelter ground for petty criminals like Bobby. He is a young man of thirty, who is forced to pickpocket because of financial instability. His dad leaves him with a huge debt to repay, and an ailing mother to take care of. As we watch Loosies online, we find Bobby hitting the underground subways in smart suits on a regular basis, robbing people of their money and watches. He operates under his own code of conduct that allows him to rob or pickpocket only well-off people, who wouldn’t be much affected by a sudden loss. He is a huge success in the profession, as he is not only an expert pickpocket, but has also managed to remain unnoticed as a criminal.
