Plot : Set in the contemporary South Africa, ‘Life, Above All’ tells us the story of a sixteen-year-old girl, who is not like the usual girls of her age. She is bold, and she is outgoing, and above all, she knows how to face and handle the truth. The fact of the matter is that South Africa, in the opening scene of the movie, is shown to be afflicted with a social taboo, the HIV virus. This girl called Chanda has just lost her infant sister and the reason is obviously the same. With heavy hearts, she and her mother are arranging for her funeral. But this is not it! Watch Life, Above All online to see how the infant falls into the trap of this fast spreading epidemic. The movie calls loud that it’s high time the country realises the need to rein in HIV. This work is taken up by Chanda, when she experiences the urge to get up and do the talking. She is seen enlightening the world about the real cause of this deadly disease.
