A Difficult Family Relationship
Plot Summary: Fly Away is a compelling story of a mother and daughter and their relationship is about the reality of life with autism. Fly Away tells the story of Jeanne (Beth Broderick, and Bonfire of the Vanities, Sabrina the Teenage Witch) and her teenage daughter, Mandy (Ashley Rickards, One Tree Hill), which is strongly affected by autism. Mandy the cook because of her disability is more difficult to manage, and so does Jeanne’s life. Jeanne is forced to face the most difficult to choose any parent faces: let go when the child grows, but, in addition to, or hold tight and fall together. The film also stars Greg Germann (Ally McBeal, Friends with Money) and JR Bourne (Little Birds).
